I Found myself saying " I would rather listen to a young person telling me how it will be in the future, than an old person telling me how it used to be in the past" |
I have always had that preference for looking forward rather than looking back. Sometimes I see the potential of an old car for restoration, I can visualize how this car could look in a few years time. I often take offence when someone tells me "you like old cars, you live in bygone era" |

Happiness is a restored Mustang |

The photo left, was taken a few years ago . It is part of a collection of images that was taken during the restoration of the mustang in the photo above. It is partial record of a time that has passed. It is looking back |
The Time spent rebuilding this car were good times, they were busy times, They were times when every spare moment was dedicated to the goal of getting this classic bit of motoring back on the road , They were Happy times. The restoration of a car does not have to be lonely work, sometimes the first thing you need to buy is a fridge to put in your shed. This is where you keep The beer that your mates will share when they call in to help you 'play' with your new toy. |

Today. I am looking back. . I am remembering a mate that has passed away. This was his car.. I am merely reminiscing some good times that I shared with a friend. Today I am spending a few minutes remembering someone who is no longer here. I am over 60, there is no great sin in dedicating a few minutes to my friend Graham Clark I am not living in the past. . Just because I love Classic cars and have many great memories does not mean I have not got my feet planted firmly in the days ahead of me. I am merely reminiscing a time when Happiness was restoring a Classic Mustang. . |

You need to do this by email, include links or images, I do love my users, expect a delay. . I will delete any Crap, |
