Emu engine 3 HP ,

This engine was found in a farm rubbish dump, in the Bracewell area. It seems it was dumped in the fifties after being replaced with a 5 HP lister. During its working life it pumped water, driving a 1.5inch centrifugal pump using a flat belt. Made in Brisbane during the 1920s . This engine runs best on a mixture of Kero and Petrol.

The Magneto is a bit weak on this engine so it is running on a fluorescent light ballast and a battery.
