This Tractor was purchased at a Capella clearing sale in July 96. It was in quite good condition. Spent much of its working life in the Duaringa area.

Power is supplied by a 32 HP engine. The fifth forward gear changed the vehicle from a field machine to one that adapted to the speeds of the highways.

The UDLX Comfortractor of 1938 had a fully enclosed factory cab, radio, heater, windshield

wipers, a cigarette lighter, electric head-lamps, spotlight, and

automotive- type gauges and a jump seat for a second person. It was a tractor well before its time.

In the ZTU. The engine is quite different to most conventional engines having 2 removable cylinder blocks and the heads being positioned on the side of the engine. It is a very simple construction and very easy to work on.

The engine is designed to run on kerosene after a petrol start. These tractors were considered the Rolls Royce of tractors when first released and were ideal for row cropping . They were the first MM models with the prairie gold paint colour.

A replacement oil pressure gauge was imported from Antique Gauges in Maryland USA, after being sourced on the Internet. To complete the restoration, decals were added
